“Do you want to be a patriot or a pussy?”

These were the crude words of Donald J. Trump in the final days of his presidency. They were part of his multiple efforts to strongarm Vice-President Mike Pence to abandon his duty and upset the will of the people by hijacking the 2020 Presidential Election.

This (and other scenes) are recounted in the book Landslide: The Final Days of the Trump Presidency by controversial journalist Michael Wolff. If you’re asking yourself, “Where can I buy the book online?” click here.

Trump was totally convinced that Pence would reject the electors and challenge Joe Biden’s win in the 2020 Presidential Election. Other than Giuliani, who was drunk and not thinking clearly, Trump was the only one who believed this nonsense. But Giuliani was drunk and was not thinking clearly.

In the book, Michael Wolff wrote:

“The president’s aides (and family) understood, too, that he was the only one (along with Giuliani, which only made the situation more alarming) in any professional political sphere to believe this.”

Let that sink in. The President of the United States allegedly attempted to launch a coup to stay in office, thus overturning the will of the people.

If there weren’t people from both sides of the aisle — although the vast majority came from the Democrats and Independents — we could have had a constitutional crisis even the founding fathers never envisioned.

Trump even wanted the Supreme Court of the United States to champion his cause to overturn the election. Since Trump has packed the court with conservative Justices Brett Kavanaugh, Neil Gorsuch, and Amy Coney Barrett, he felt assured he could get a loyal 6-3 decision to keep him in power.

But the Court declined to take up the cases flooding them in hope of making the election of President Joe Biden invalid, according to Wolffe, Trump launched his rage toward Kavanaugh.

“I’m very disappointed in Kavanaugh,” Trump remarked in an interview with Wolff. “He just hasn’t had the courage you need to be a great justice.”

Hmm. He didn’t feel that way as he stood by Kavanaugh while the future justice faced sexual misconduct allegations during his confirmation process. But now?

“Where would he be without me? I saved his life. He wouldn’t even be in a law firm. Who would have had him? Nobody. Totally disgraced. Only I saved him.”

It sounds like Trump knows something more that he previously let on, doesn’t it? Trump simply can’t stop telling on himself.

The Michael Wollf new book Landslide is a blockbuster!

In an interview with Britain’s Channel 4 News, Michael Wollf shared some scary information about people close to the former president.

“Virtually everyone around Trump—we’re not talking Democrats here, we’re talking Trump aides, intimates, and supporters—everyone believes he has gone off his rocker. I mean, let’s not put too fine a point here: They believe he is crazy.”

Yet, they put party and self-interest over the country.

Let’s not forget Trump, although he didn’t win the election, he received more votes than he did in 2016. That should concern us all as the Big Lie that the 2020 election was stolen from him and he actually won.

“We won. Won in a landslide. This was a landslide.”

President Donald J. Trump, January 6, 2021

Tens of millions of his followers believe this, too.

We thought we could make America once again America after the 2020 election, but it may take until 2024. We just have to want it more than Trump and his supporters.
