Providing Professional Service For Southern
California:
My Philosophy: It was just an ordinary business day when the call came in. It was less than a year since her husband of 25 years had passed away and she wanted to move on with her life or at least try. I can still remember the day I learned of his passing, I broke down and cried. He was a good man and I considered him a great friend. He was also a fellow Realtor®. She could have called anyone that day, but she called me. She was entrusting me to handle her Real Estate transaction. It was an honor I didn't want to take lightly. After a period of tough negotiations, we were finally in escrow and, although we had a few challenges along the way, it closed within 30 days. She and her two kids were, to say the least, emotionally drained and I must say I was, too. They didn't believe it was possible. My wife was so moved, she rushed over to her home and they hugged and cried. Our love and happiness for them was never stronger. With the emotions swelling up inside, it was at that moment that I fully realized: This is why I do what I do, and more importantly, this is why I drive myself to do the best job that I can. For me, this was definitely my most rewarding transaction. It was not because the commission was huge, because it wasn't. But because this was someone who, after dealing with such adversity as the loss of a spouse, and whose husband was in the business, looked to me, among other Realtors®, to handle the most precious financial transaction she would make. For me, it was a truly enriching and enlightening experience. We in the Real Estate Community must never lose sight of what it is we are involved in. I must prepare myself for this task, because lives depend on it. It is more than just wood and stucco. It is a place where the children are raised. It's warm shelter against the coldness of the outside world. It's where the family comes together to share the laughter and the tears of life. It's a place you can truly call your own. It is these things that make a cold lifeless building we call a "house" become the living entity we call "home." It's for all of those reasons that I am honored to be a special part of their lives.
