LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION FOR
REALTOR LAWRENCE ELLIOTT

First, I'd like to state that I'm writing this letter of recommendation because I feel compelled to let the world know how satisfied I am with Mr. Elliott's services. I do not stand to gain anything by writing this (as my business has concluded with him) except the satisfaction of letting others know that I found Mr. Elliott to be the true definition of a caring professional.

As you can see from my letterhead, I am and have been a practicing attorney since 1983. I have always been a hands-on type "A" person who likes to be very involved in all my transactions and who can be very demanding in my standards.

When my elderly parents wanted to move from my ranch in Northern California to a new home in Southern California, I went online to look for homes on the MLS (Multiple Listing Service). In order to browse that service, you have to do so through an agent and I thankfully was assigned to Lawrence Elliott.

When were ready to look at homes, I called Mr. Elliott and we set a day and time certain. He arrived on time and it was obvious to me that he had done his homework and was ready to proceed in an extremely time efficient manner. (This was and is very important to me as "Time is Money.")

While driving around looking at houses, I was impressed with his knowledge of real estate (both legally and practically), his honesty (he always attempted to find and reveal the bad in each property rather than just pressing for the sale) and finally the warmth of his personality.

Because of problems with the sale of the ranch, one purchase fell through and we had to start all over again. The next purchase was fraught with continuing non-disclosure and title problems which would have overwhelmed the average broker or agent. Mr. Elliott never lost his enthusiasm, kept me in constant communication, steadfastly upheld my position like a rock and never once asked me to compromise.

To his credit he ultimately succeeded in closing the transaction to our benefit while I was on vacation in the Middle East. That's right, by the time my vacation came around, I was so certain of his abilities and trusted him and his judgment so much that I (a type "A" person) could leave the uncompleted transaction (involving my parents) in his capable hands.

I heartily recommend Lawrence Elliott to everyone and I'm sure that you will thank me in the future if my recommendation had anything to do with your decision as to which agent to use for the sale or purchase of your property.
